I received this error when I right-click on the database and click Properties.
Property Size is not available for Database. This property may not exist for this object, or may not be retrievable due to insufficent access rights.
The problem is solved when I close SQL Server Management Studio and open it again with “Run as administrator”. If the problem is not resolved in this way, make sure that the SSMS you are using are not older than the instance you are connecting to.
If your problem is not resolved in this way, change the owner of the database as follows.
1 |
sp_changedbowner 'sa' |
If changing the database owner is not the solution, I suggest you restart SQL Server first.
If any solution I mentioned above did not work, I suggest that you run DBCC CHECKDB on the database and check for corruption. You should read the article “DBCC CHECKDB Command On SQL Server”
