So we can easily capture newly created or updated or deleted records. The OUTPUT statement reads the newly inserted records from the INSERTED table,\u00a0 deleted or updated records from the DELETED table. These tables are the virtual tables that are created at that time.<\/p>\n<p>Create the table which we will update and insert some records.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true\">CREATE TABLE [dbo].[Customer](\n\t[CustomerId] [int] NULL,\n\t[City] [varchar](50) NULL,\n\t[Telephone] [varchar](50) NULL\n) ON [PRIMARY]\nGO\nINSERT INTO [dbo].[Customer](CustomerId,City,Telephone) \n\tVALUES (1,'Ankara','05454077068'),\n\t       (2,'\u0130stanbul','03565626964'),\n\t       (3,'\u0130zmir','06531451255')\nSELECT * FROM [dbo].[Customer]\n<\/pre>\n<p id=\"raUYxGA\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-10386  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/img_5c875a697cba7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"644\" height=\"433\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Create the table which we will transfer the changes. Update the Telephone column where the City value is &#8216;\u0130stanbul &#8216; in the table\u00a0 and transfer the affected values to table which we have created named ChangesTable.
