So, There is no more space need when creating views.<\/p>\n<p>Typically, we create view for complex queries that join multiple tables,\u00a0 to increase readability of our code. Thus, we do not have to write complex queries every time. Let&#8217;s clarify the topic by creating a view example. Click New View on the Views tab of a database as follows.<\/p>\n<h1>Create a View Using SSMS<\/h1>\n<p id=\"UeOffbN\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"696\" height=\"196\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10856  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/img_5c93f31478367.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Double-click the tables, views, functions, or synonyms that we want to add to the view on the screen.<\/p>\n<p id=\"xlPmLPA\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-10858  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/img_5c93f3335ff28.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"765\" height=\"510\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After selecting the desired objects, we click Close and we select the relevant columns from the objects we selected. Then, the query that will create the View appears as in the following screenshot.<\/p>\n<p id=\"wDjAsFD\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-10860  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/img_5c93f3675d306.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"756\" height=\"510\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can save the view with CTRL + S. It&#8217;ll ask us what the name of the view will be. We will name it as ViewExample.<\/p>\n<p id=\"kcNSDbQ\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-10862  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/img_5c93f390cd109.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"417\" height=\"172\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you click OK, you may receive an error as follows. The reason for this error is that the name of the view is the same as the name of one of the tables in the view.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>Cannot save a view\/funtion\/procedure that is self-referenced.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"GrXMOMU\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-10864  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/img_5c93f3c26477e.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"556\" height=\"219\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As a workaround, you can save the view with another name.<\/p>\n<h1>Create a View Using TSQL<\/h1>\n<p>If you want to create a view by using TSQL, you can use the following script.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true  \">CREATE VIEW [dbo].[ViewExample]\nAS\nSELECT * FROM [dbo].[MyTable]\nGO<\/pre>\n<p>We can add indexes to the View. Indexed Views are known as the equivalent of Materialized View in Oracle.
