In this article we will examine how to do this replacement.<\/p>\n<p>I suggest you read my article &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2019\/04\/08\/what-is-always-encrypted-in-sql-server\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">What is Always Encrypted in SQL Server<\/a>&#8221; to get detailed information about Always Encrypted.<\/p>\n<p>I assume you have a column master key named test name. First, we create a new column master key as follows to change this column master key.<\/p>\n<p id=\"QzFKPNJ\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-11397  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/img_5caca19927d1a.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"549\" height=\"452\"><\/p>\n<p>On the next screen, we assign the column master key a name and determine where it will be stored and click ok.
