You can find details in the article &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2018\/07\/07\/how-to-configure-database-mail-on-sql-server\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">How To Configure Database Mail On SQL Server<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s create a job after the Database Mail Configuration is completed. In my article &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2018\/12\/18\/how-to-create-a-sql-server-job\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">How To Create a SQL Server Job<\/a>&#8221; you can see how the job was created.<\/p>\n<p>From the SQL Server Agent section, click View Job Activity and right click on the XYZ job I created in the article I mentioned above and click on Properties. I&#8217;m accessing step&#8217;s content by clicking edit in the &#8220;Steps&#8221; section. I&#8217;m writing the wrong TSQL code as follows for Job to fail.<\/p>\n<p id=\"isSPuMs\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-11587  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/img_5cb1b89bcf139.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"741\" height=\"650\"><\/p>\n<p>Then we mark the E-mail in Notifications and we select the Operator we defined in the Database Mail Configuration from the check box next to it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When the Job fails&#8221; remains selected.
