Logstash constantly listens to these resources and transfers the change to elasticsearch when a change occurs.<\/p>\n<p>For example, you transferred a table in SQL Server to elasticsearch using Logstash. I&#8217;m not going to explain the installation of JAVA again because I explained it in the Elasticsearch installation. From this screen, we click on the past releases.<\/p>\n<p id=\"WqrlyLk\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-11906  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/img_5cc70240e26e2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"436\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the next screen, we select Logstash as you see below, and we select the logstash version we want to download from the list below and click Download.<\/p>\n<p id=\"bJPyyIn\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-11908  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/img_5cc70261189b3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"738\" height=\"273\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The logstash version must be the same as the elasticsearch version. To learn the elastic version connect to Kibana and click Dev Tools and run the below command.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true\">GET \/<\/pre>\n<p>You can see the elasticsearch version information in the section named number.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-11976 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Ads\u0131z-67.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"807\" height=\"232\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Right click on the RPM as you seen in the screenshot below and click on &#8220;Copy link to clipboard&#8221;. We will use this link in the installation. If the server is not open to the Internet, you can download the file and copy it to the server. You must download the TAR.GZ file for this.<\/p>\n<p id=\"NOKxuOv\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-11910  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/img_5cc70283ef2b4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"669\" height=\"409\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After writing yum install, we paste the link we copied and run the command by pressing enter.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">yum install https:\/\/artifacts.elastic.co\/downloads\/logstash\/logstash-6.5.4.rpm<\/pre>\n<p id=\"CmWrFwe\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-11912  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/img_5cc702a750557.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"699\" height=\"52\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If the server is not open to the Internet, we first download the file on the link we copied to a server. If the server that you will download the file is linux you can download using the wget command. If wget is not installed on the server, you can install it as follows.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">yum install wget<\/pre>\n<p id=\"aVlMIBA\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-11914  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/img_5cc702c20fefa.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"712\" height=\"437\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then, we go to the directory where we want to download the file on a server that can connect to the internet to download logstash. We are downloading the file using the command below.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true\">cd \/home\/elastic<\/pre>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">wget https:\/\/artifacts.elastic.co\/downloads\/logstash\/logstash-6.5.4.tar.gz<\/pre>\n<p id=\"sddIqxa\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-11916  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/img_5cc702fd91c4c.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"771\" height=\"138\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To check the file, go to the directory we downloaded and check as follows.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true\">cd \/home\/elastic<\/pre>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">ll<\/pre>\n<p id=\"zteDbKP\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-11918  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/img_5cc703208c1ed.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"746\" height=\"341\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Extract the file we downloaded with the command below.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true\">tar -xzf \/home\/elastic\/logstash-6.5.4.tar.gz<\/pre>\n<p>We copy this file to a path in the server where we will install logstash.<\/p>\n<p>In our example, we copied the file to the \/home\/elastic directory.
