It tries to repair bad sectors on the disk by working periodically when the disks are idle. If the bad sector rate on the disk has increased, you can shorten the disk scrubbing interval.<\/p>\n<p>You can find information about disk scrubbing activity with the help of the following commands.<\/p>\n<h2>Is Disk Scrub Activity Enabled on the Exadata Cell Node?<\/h2>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">CellCLI&gt; list cell attributes name,hardDiskScrubInterval\r\nexa1celadm01 biweekly<\/pre>\n<h2>Has the Disk Scrub started on the Exadata Cell node?<\/h2>\n<p>If the information in the <strong>$CELLTRACE\/alert.log<\/strong> file on Cellnode is as follows, the process has started and completed.<\/p>\n<p>The cell alert log file will contain the following statements.<\/p>\n<h3>=&gt; When Scrubbing starts<\/h3>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true\">Begin scrubbing CellDisk:CD_05_exa1celadm01.<\/pre>\n<h3>=&gt; When Scrubbing is finished<\/h3>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true\">Finished scrubbing CellDisk:CD_05_exa1celadm01, scrubbed blocks (1MB):1906336, found bad blocks:0<\/pre>\n<p>In addition, if there is an active scrub on the grid disk when the grid disks are checked, the status of the grid disk will appear as &#8220;active \u2013 scrub resilvering working&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h2>Check Disk Scrub Schedule<\/h2>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true\">CellCLI&gt; list cell attributes name,hardDiskScrubInterval\r\nexa1celadm01 biweekly<\/pre>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> biweekly is the default value and means once every two weeks.
