Requested by OS process 14652 on instance 2<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>Mon Dec 21 17:54:17 2015<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>RFS[11]: Selected log 12 for thread 1 sequence 9902 dbid 1853001179 branch 864558941<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In this case, when I checked the database, archive logs were transferred succesfully, but the APPLY operation could not be performed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0in; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11.0pt; color: red;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">(STANDBY DB)<\/span><\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">SQL&gt; SELECT SEQUENCE#,APPLIED FROM V$ARCHIVED_LOG ORDER BY SEQUENCE#;\r\n\u00a0\r\nSEQUENCE# APPLIED\r\n---------- ---------\r\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 7813 NO\r\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 9898 NO\r\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 9897 NO\r\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 7812 NO\r\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 9899 NO\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>In this case, I thought to restart the RECOVER operation in the STANDBY Database and ran the following query on both NODEs. In the second NODE, the process was completed within a few seconds, the first NODE was stuck.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">SQL&gt; ALTER DATABASE RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE CANCEL;\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>Because the above process did not work successfully, I closed the database and started again. This process took a long time. Because there were suspended processes.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true\">NODE1;\r\nSQL&gt; shutdown immediate;\r\n\r\nNODE2; (This process took too long. We have to wait a little patiently.)\r\nSQL&gt; shutdown immediate;\r\n\r\nNODE1;\r\nSQL&gt; startup mount;\r\n\r\nNODE2;\r\nSQL&gt; startup mount;<\/pre>\n<p>After the database opened without any problems, I started the RECOVER process again.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">SQL&gt; ALTER DATABASE RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE DISCONNECT FROM SESSION;\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>It is necessary to check whether the archive logs are being applied.
