Step1: Install RPM Repos<\/h3>\n
dnf install https:\/\/download.postgresql.org\/pub\/repos\/yum\/reporpms\/EL-8-x86_64\/pgdg-redhat-repo-latest.noarch.rpm\r\n<\/pre>\n
When we run this script, we request permission for the installation and we proceed by typing y.<\/p>\n

Step2: Install Client Packages<\/h3>\n
dnf install postgresql12<\/pre>\n

Step3: Initial Operations<\/h3>\n
We perform server packages installation, initdb process and service Enable and Start processes.<\/p>\n
dnf install postgresql12-server\r\n \r\n\/usr\/pgsql-12\/bin\/postgresql-12-setup initdb\r\nsystemctl enable postgresql-12\r\nsystemctl start postgresql-12<\/pre>\n
