In this article, we will install elasticsearch on ubuntu server 19.10 with 10.250.2.221 IP. Our necessary commands for these are as follows.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">root@elastic:~# wget -qO \u2013 https:\/\/artifacts.elastic.co\/GPG-KEY-elasticsearch | sudo apt-key add \u2013\n\nroot@elastic:~# echo \u201cdeb https:\/\/artifacts.elastic.co\/packages\/6.x\/apt stable main\u201d | sudo tee -a \/etc\/apt\/sources.list.d\/elastic-6.x.list\n\nroot@elastic:~# sudo apt-get update &amp;&amp; sudo apt-get install elasticsearch<\/pre>\n<p id=\"ApfIGhW\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-16092  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/img_5f22759b47811.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"965\" height=\"73\"><\/p>\n<h3>Configure elasticsearch.yml<\/h3>\n<p>Before running Elasticsearch&#8217;s services, let&#8217;s define cluster name and node name in elasticsearch in the configuration file.<\/p>\n<p>And let&#8217;s specify what IP address the elasticsearch service should run on the server. In addition, we don&#8217;t have an elastic cluster, but let&#8217;s enter at least one node in the discover.seed_hosts configuration for the elastic service to work.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">root@elastic:~# vim \/etc\/elasticsearch\/elasticsearch.yml<\/pre>\n<p id=\"IiddENy\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-16093  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/img_5f2276d24d930.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"744\" height=\"891\"><\/p>\n<h3>Enable and Run Elasticsearch<\/h3>\n<p>We can now enable and run elasticsearch services.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">root@elastic:~# service elasticsearch start\n\nroot@elastic:~# systemctl start elasticsearch.service\n\nroot@elastic:~# netstat -antp | grep java\n\nroot@elastic:~# service elasticsearch status<\/pre>\n<p id=\"KJubRmG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-16094  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/img_5f227773aedea.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"871\" height=\"281\"><\/p>\n<p>Our elasticsearch service has now started. Using curl, let&#8217;s verify that our elasticsearch service is running and observe that the configurations we made are working correctly.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">root@elastic:~# curl http:\/\/10.250.2.221:9200<\/pre>\n<p id=\"WQBXEJh\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"508\" height=\"311\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16095  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/img_5f2277d407d67.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>We successfully installed and run Elasticsearh on our server.
