You can access the related article from the link below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2021\/02\/04\/metricbeat-postgresql-dashboard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Metricbeat PostgreSQL Dashboard<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For those who will get data from MSSQL for the first time, you need to install Metricbeat first. You can use the link below for this.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2021\/01\/12\/how-to-install-metricbeat-on-centos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How To Install Metricbeat on Centos<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We assume that Metricbeat has been installed and proceed. First, we enable the MSSQL module as follows.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">metricbeat modules enable mssql<\/pre>\n<p>After enabling the module, we make the necessary changes in the mssql.yml file specified in the following directory for connection with MSSQL.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true\">vi \/etc\/metricbeat\/modules.d\/mssql.yml<\/pre>\n<p id=\"xCYegKW\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"876\" height=\"256\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18910 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/img_6059a5ee8eed6.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We change the inside of the yml as above. Let&#8217;s explain the above parameters:<\/p>\n<p><strong>metricsets:<\/strong> &#8220;transaction_log&#8221; and &#8220;performance&#8221; parameters are metrics to be taken from the sql server.<\/p>\n<p><strong>hosts:<\/strong> sql server ip and port information<\/p>\n<p><strong>username:<\/strong> sql server user<\/p>\n<p><strong>password:<\/strong> the password of the sql server user<\/p>\n<p><strong>period:<\/strong> How often the metrics will be taken.<\/p>\n<p>After setting these parameters, we complete the metricbeat setup with the help of the following command and restart the service.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">metricbeat setup<\/pre>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">systemctl restart metricbeat.service<\/pre>\n<p>After restarting our service, our data is started to be transferred to Elasticsearch with the help of metricbeat.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s check if we can see the data we sent to elasticsearch with ready dashboards on Kibana.<\/p>\n<p>First, we go to the Dashboards section from the top left menu as seen in the screenshot below.<\/p>\n<p id=\"hHwHGpQ\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-18911 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/img_6059a85ccda08.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"831\" height=\"572\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We write MSSQL in the search section in the dashboards section and\u00a0 below dashboards are listed.<\/p>\n<p id=\"egnkiMm\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-18912 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/img_6059a8cef04d9.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"799\" height=\"240\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It pulled the data according to the mssql.yml file.
