running via OS(linux):<\/h4>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">ps -ef | grep postgres<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>To Check the RAM \/ CPU status via OS(linux):<\/h4>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">top<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>To Check the Disk Status via OS(linux9:<\/h4>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">df -h<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>To Check the Number of the Connection Count:<\/h4>\n<p>You can find the following information with the following script.<\/p>\n<p>How many connections in the database?<br \/>\nWhat is Transaction Count?<br \/>\nWrite to disk,<br \/>\nRead from cache,<br \/>\nWhat is the number of rows inserted, deleted etc?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">SELECT * FROM pg_stat_database;<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>However, to have this table, after installing the Postgresql9.6-contrib package, it is necessary to create the following extension by connecting to the database with psql.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">create extension pg_stat_statements;<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Long Running Queries:<\/h4>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">SELECT total_time,query FROM pg_stat_database;<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Table and index access statistics:<\/h4>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">select * from pg_stat_user_indexes;\r\n\r\nselect * from pg_stat_activity;<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>How long have the existing queries been working:<\/h4>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true\">SELECT pid,datname,usename, now() \u2013 query_start AS runtime, state,query FROM pg_stat_activity;<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>To stop a query:<\/h4>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">select pg_cancel_backend(&lt;pid of the process&gt;)<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>To kill if the query does not stop using the above method:<\/h4>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">select pg_terminate_backend(&lt;pid of the process&gt;)<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>To see locked objects:<\/h4>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">SELECT * FROM pg_locks;<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>To see the size of a database:<\/h4>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">SELECT pg_size_pretty(pg_database_size(\u2018database_name\u2019));<\/pre>\n<p>or<\/p>\n<p>After connecting with psql, you can see the sizes of all databases with l+ command.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>To see
