They require authorization to do so. This authority is given as follows.<\/p>\n<p>1.We are questioning the GUARD status of the database.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">\t[Logical-1]\r\n\tSQL&gt; column guard_status format a15\r\n\tSQL&gt; select guard_status from v$database;\r\n\t\r\n\tGUARD_STATUS\r\n\t---------------\r\n\tALL\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>Here;<br \/>\nALL: Except for SYS, no user can WRITE any object.<br \/>\nSTANDBY: Operation on any object processed by SQL APPLY processes is not allowed.<br \/>\nNONE: There is normal security. Whoever has the authority to act does it.<\/p>\n<p>2. We grant the DBA authorization to the user.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">\t[Logical-1]\r\n\tSQL&gt; grant dba to test;\r\n\t\r\n\tGrant succeeded.\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>3. The user tries to delete a row in the table.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">\t[Logical-1]\r\n\tSQL&gt; conn test\/test\r\n\tConnected.\r\n\tSQL&gt; show user\r\n\tUSER is \"TEST\"\r\n\tSQL&gt; select * from test.regions_yedek;\r\n\t\r\n\t REGION_ID REGION_NAME\r\n\t---------- -------------------------\r\n\t         1 Europe\r\n\t         2 Americas\r\n\t         3 Asia\r\n\t         4 Middle East and Africa\r\n\t\r\n\tSQL&gt; delete test.regions_yedek where region_id = 1;\r\n\tdelete test.regions_yedek where region_id = 1\r\n\t            *\r\n\tERROR at line 1:\r\n\tORA-16224: Database Guard is enabled\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>4. We pull the GUARD status to STANDBY.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">\t\r\n\t[Logical-1]\r\n\tSQL&gt; ALTER DATABASE GUARD STANDBY;\r\n\t\r\n\tDatabase altered.\r\n\t\r\n\tSQL&gt; delete test.regions_yedek where region_id = 1;\r\n\tdelete test.regions_yedek where region_id = 1\r\n\t            *\r\n\tERROR at line 1:\r\n\tORA-16224: Database Guard is enabled\r\n\t\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>5.
