{"id":52139,"date":"2022-08-18T18:07:13","date_gmt":"2022-08-18T18:07:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/?p=52139"},"modified":"2022-08-18T18:11:54","modified_gmt":"2022-08-18T18:11:54","slug":"create-azure-sql-database-using-powershell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2022\/08\/18\/create-azure-sql-database-using-powershell\/","title":{"rendered":"Create Azure SQL Database Using Powershell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In today&#8217;s article, we will Create Azure SQL Database Using Powershell.<\/p>\n<p>There are two different steps to create the Azure SQL database.<\/p>\n<p>First, we can create it through the Azure Portal, as the second way, we can create it via powershell.<\/p>\n<p>In our previous articles, we explained how to create an Azure SQL database through the Azure portal,now let&#8217;s consider how we can do it through powershell.<\/p>\n<p>As the first step, we need to run Powershell as administrator.<\/p>\n<p>For this, we need to type powershell ISE in start and right click and run as administrator.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sqlekibi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Resim-1-1.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"VLrbNcn\">On the powershell screen that comes up, we run the &#8220;Login-AzureRmAccount&#8221; command, which we need to login to our azure account.<\/p>\n<p>But first, we run the &#8220;Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned&#8221; command and accept the signature policy,<\/p>\n<p>then if the powershell library \/ module required for azure is not installed in our system, you will be faced with an error screen like the one below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sqlekibi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Resim-2-1.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To solve the encountered error, it will be sufficient to run the commands below and accept the notifications of the warning.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">Install-Module AzureRM\r\nInstall-Module Azure<\/pre>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sqlekibi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Resim-3-1.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"vPfThux\">In order to confirm that the installation processes were successful, you can run the &#8220;Get-Module -List&#8221; command and access the list of available commands.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sqlekibi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Resim-4-1.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"CMhnBjp\">After getting the necessary confirmation information, we run the Login-AzureRmAccount command again.<\/p>\n<p>A login screen like the one below appears.<\/p>\n<p>We enter the information of our Azure account and log in.<\/p>\n<p>After entering the information, we can see the account details with the screen below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sqlekibi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Resim-5-1.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"UXiwxxK\">You can verify your account with the &#8220;Get-AzureRmSubscription&#8221;
