{"id":52298,"date":"2022-09-10T08:12:11","date_gmt":"2022-09-10T08:12:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/?p=52298"},"modified":"2022-09-10T08:13:19","modified_gmt":"2022-09-10T08:13:19","slug":"pgbadger-installation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2022\/09\/10\/pgbadger-installation\/","title":{"rendered":"pgBadger Installation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In today&#8217;s article, we will talk about pgBadger Installation and what it is.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"86dd\" class=\"jr js iu bm jt ju jv jw jx jy jz ka kb kc kd ke kf kg kh ki kj kk kl km kn ko fw\">What is pgBadger?<\/h3>\n<p>PostgreSQL log analyzer \u201cpgBadger\u201d is an open source PostgreSQL log analysis program written in Perl that takes log output from PostgreSQL instance and processes it into an HTML file.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"268d\" class=\"jr js iu bm jt ju jv jw jx jy jz ka kb kc kd ke kf kg kh ki kj kk kl km kn ko fw\">pgBadger Installation<\/h3>\n<p>Operating System : CentOS 7 \u2014 PostgreSQL Version : 13<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">[root@postgresql ~]# yum -y install libjson-xs-perl\r\n[root@postgresql ~]# yum -y install pgbadger<\/pre>\n<h3>pgBadger Configuration<\/h3>\n<p>We make some configuration settings in the postgresql.conf file.<\/p>\n<p>First we set the log_min_duration_statement parameter.<\/p>\n<p>The parameter value is given in milliseconds.
