Ensure that the Oracle Text component is also installed before you begin the installation. APEX needs this component.<\/p>\n<p>First, tablespaces are created:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">CREATE TABLESPACE APEX DATAFILE '+DATA\/orcl\/DATAFILE\/apex01.dbf'\r\nSIZE 500M\r\nEXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL\r\nSEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT AUTO;\r\nCREATE TABLESPACE APEX_FILES DATAFILE '+DATA\/orcl\/DATAFILE\/apex_files01.dbf'\r\nSIZE 100M\r\nEXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL\r\nSEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT AUTO;<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then, creating the APEX_IMAGES virtual directory.<\/p>\n<p>If the database is RAC, the physical directory is being created on all servers.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">bash-3.00$ mkdir \/oracle\/apex\r\nbash-3.00$ cd \/oracle\/apex\r\nbash-3.00$ mkdir apex_images\r\n\r\nSQL &gt; CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY\r\nAPEX_IMAGES\u00a0 AS\r\n'\/oracle\/apex\/apex_images';<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We give privileges to the virtual directory.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">SQL&gt;GRANT READ, WRITE ON DIRECTORY\u00a0 APEX_IMAGES TO SYSTEM WITH GRANT OPTION;<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Installation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">SQL&gt; @apexins APEX APEX_FILES TEMP \/APEX_IMAGES\/;<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You can log in with admin login information from the following addresses to manage after installation.<\/p>\n<p>http: \/\/ sunucu_ip: 7777 \/ pls \/ apex<br \/>\nhttp: \/\/ sunucu_ip: 7777 \/ pls \/ apex \/ apex_adm the<\/p>\n<p>You should check the HTTP Port.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">SQL&gt; select DBMS_XDB.GETHTTPPORT() from dual;\r\n\r\nDBMS_XDB.GETHTTPPORT()\r\n----------------------\r\n0<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Oracle XML DB HTTP Server is not enabled if the query returns 0 (zero). In this case, we are assigning ports with the following query.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">SQL&gt; EXEC DBMS_XDB.SETHTTPPORT(8080);<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then, when we query APEX from dba_registry, the status must be VALID.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">SQL&gt; select status from dba_registry where comp_id = 'APEX';\r\n\r\nSTATUS\r\n-----------\r\nVALID<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You must add alias in Apache configuration files.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">\/oracle\/product\/10.2.0\/companion\/Apache\/Apache\/conf\/httpd.conf<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the above file, alias should be added in the following section.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">ServerSignature On\r\n\r\n#\r\n# Aliases: Add here as many aliases as you need (with no limit).
