{"id":54526,"date":"2023-05-18T22:39:16","date_gmt":"2023-05-18T22:39:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/?p=54526"},"modified":"2023-05-18T22:39:51","modified_gmt":"2023-05-18T22:39:51","slug":"oracle-autonomous-data-warehouse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2023\/05\/18\/oracle-autonomous-data-warehouse\/","title":{"rendered":"Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In today&#8217;s article, we will be cover about Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse Optimizer Statistics Management.<\/p>\n<p>Autonomous Data Warehouse has the ability to automatically collect statistical information for tables added directly on SQL.<\/p>\n<p>For example, optimizer statistics are collected automatically for processes using the DBMS_CLOUD package.<\/p>\n<p>If you have a table that changes using the DML operations we routinely use, you can do the following to gather statistics for those tables.<\/p>\n<p>The example shows the collection of statistics for all tables using the &#8220;SH&#8221; schema.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true \">BEGIN\r\n  DBMS_STATS.GATHER_SCHEMA_STATS('SH', options=&gt;'GATHER AUTO');\r\nEND;\r\n\/<\/pre>\n<p>However, Autonomous Data Warehous by default ignores the use of optimizer and Parallel hint in SQL statements.
