&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2018\/09\/09\/how-to-install-sql-server\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How To Install SQL Server<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>You must first set the default ports.<\/p>\n<p>Right-click on SQL Server Configuration Manager and select Run as Administrator.<\/p>\n<p>On the screen that appears, click Protocols for TESTINSTACE under SQL Server Network Configuration as follows.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/261.png\" width=\"591\" height=\"289\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Then right click on TCP\/IP in the right-hand side and <\/span><span lang=\"tr\">click <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">properties.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>We delete 0 in all TCP Dynamic Ports and leave it blank.<\/p>\n<p>In the TCP Port sections, we write the ports we want to define as default.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Normally, you only need to do this at the bottom IPALL.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">But I have seen some applications that have had problems when done this way.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">That&#8217;s why it would be useful to do it all.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/303.png\" width=\"426\" height=\"508\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After completing our port configuration, you should configure the database mail so that the sql server can notify you by e-mail when there is any problem in your system.<\/p>\n<p>You can find the details of this configuration in the article named &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2018\/07\/07\/how-to-configure-database-mail-on-sql-server\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How To Configure Database Mail On SQL Server<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>After you have done the Database Mail configuration, you should run the script on the link below.<\/p>\n<p>With this script, you can catch many problems in sql server without anybody&#8217;s notice.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brentozar.com\/blitz\/configure-sql-server-alerts\/\">https:\/\/www.brentozar.com\/blitz\/configure-sql-server-alerts\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>After opening the above script, you need to press Ctrl H to change the &#8220;The DBA Team&#8221; statement to the name you gave to the operator you defined.<\/p>\n<p>You can find the details in the article &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2018\/07\/08\/how-to-create-an-operator-on-sql-server-and-what-is-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How To Create An Operator On SQL Server and What is It<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>When you run the script, your alerts will be defined.<\/p>\n<p>In order to send alerts as mail, you have to make the following settings by right clicking SQL Server Agent and selecting properties.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Our instance name is TESTINSTACE.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/293.png\" width=\"612\" height=\"556\"><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">\n<p lang=\"en-US\">You need to make detailed server configurations using sp_configure.<\/p>\n<p>Details about sp_configure can be found in the article &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2018\/07\/14\/sp_configureserver-level-configurations-in-sql-server\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sp_configure(Server-Level Configurations in SQL Server)<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>Then you need to make the necessary settings from Security policy.<\/p>\n<p>You can access details from the article &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2018\/10\/08\/security-policy-for-sql-server-secpol-msc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Security Policy for SQL Server(secpol.msc)<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">After installation, I would recommend reading the following article to give the <\/span><span lang=\"tr\">permissions <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">of the SQL Server Service Account on windows.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2018\/09\/17\/sql-server-service-accounts-permissions-on-windows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SQL Server Service Account&#8217;s Permissions on Windows<\/a>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Finally, you can make the setting mentioned in the article titled &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/index.php\/2018\/08\/31\/running-sql-server-with-high-performancehigh-performance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Running SQL Server With High Performance(High Performance)<\/a>&#8221;
