Then you can connect to SQL Server with the help of the following command.<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang:default decode:true\">sqlcmd -E -S .\\TESTINSTACE2<\/pre>\n<div>\n<table border=\"1\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>.\\<\/td>\n<td>It represents your current server. You can write hostname\\ instead instead of this.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>TESTINSTACE2<\/td>\n<td>Name of Named instance<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>-E<\/td>\n<td>It means Trusted Connection. Do not change this.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>-S<\/td>\n<td>It means Server. Do not change this.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p id=\"AXYrOAd\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-8424  aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/img_5c46b8206fd68.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"204\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you want to connect to default instance instead of named instance, you can connect by typing sqlcmd only.<\/p>\n<p>Queries that you run after connecting from the cmd command line must be specific. You should not run with &#8220;<code>Select * From...<\/code>&#8220;.
