How To Find Serial Numbers of Exadata Servers and Components

The serial numbers and part codes of the compute nodes and cellnodes and components in these nodes in the Exadata are required to supply the hardware when part replacement is required. If you have oracle support licence, they will send the appropriate hardware on requests. But if we need to change hardware parts between different Exadatas, we need to determine if they are appropriate from the serial numbers.

You can see the serial numbers of the cellnodes and compute nodes and all of their components with the following command. The command must be run with root.
