On Linux systems running Oracle database, the following error messages are displayed due to bug 17186167. The problem is fixed in version 18.1. The problem is seen in 11g and especially in the 12c database servers.
Patch 17186167 should be applied to both database and grid home to solve the problem.
The following error messages are displayed when checked with dmesg.
