How To Create SQL Database on Azure

You can find information about creating SQL Database in Azure in this article. If you are creating a Stretch Database, you must first create a SQL Database on Azure. You can find information about Stretch Database in the article “What is Stretch Database in SQL Server“.

First of all, we click on SQL databases on Azure portal as follows.

Then click Create SQL databases as follows.

We then complete the process by writing necessary informations in the fields below.

When you come to the server part, it will ask you to create a server. You should create the server by typing the required information in the following screen, and then select Select on the bottom.
