ORA 03113 End Of File On Communication Channel On Startup

In today’s article, we will talk about solving the ORA 03113 End Of File On Communication Channel On Startup error.

What should we do if we get ORA-03113 error when we close or open oracle db. After opening the database in mount mode, if we connect to sqlplus and increase the file target size, the problem is solved.

$ sqlplus / as sysdba

SQL> startup mount

$ sqlplus / as sysdba

SQL> startup mount

SQL>alter system set db_recovery_file_dest_size = 75G scope=both

1	SQL>alter system set db_recovery_file_dest_size = 75G scope=both
